The boring history bit
Not surprisingly The Granite House was built of GRANITE ! at the tail end of the 19th century. It was originally built as a Temperance Hotel, which for those of you who don't know, was an anti alcohol movement of the day. Having had several guises over the years it was bought in 1977 by it's present owners. As a family business we have expanded to fill every square inch of the building and in 1999 built an extension to create a massive sales area on two floors.

Here at the Granite House and Giftmonger we sell a large and constantly changing selection of unique, design led gifts for all the family. We have a HUGE range of gifts for her, gifts for him, gifts for kids, gifts for the home, toys and games, fun things, rude gifts, the list is just goes on...and on...
