What's so magic about this wand?

The Magic Wand is a perfect blend of ancient wisdom and modern day technology, combined to create a remote control capable of producing the magical experience of being able to control things with a mere flick of the wrist, or tip of the wand. And it’s not just for the television either, use it to control many electrical gadgets such as the Sky Box, iPhone, digiBox, stereo - basically any infrared device. The wand is button free but can be programmed to learn up to 13 infrared codes from your existing remote controls. These can then be relayed with one of the 13 predefined gestures assigned to it. The clever wand can distinguish between the different movements that you make and recognises which action it should take. The wand will pulse to confirm it has recognised the function performed and that it has been carried out. If left inactive for 60 seconds the wand will also go into sleep mode, waking again when you pick it up. Available at Giftmonger for £49.99.
